Racing Force Group is pleased to confirm that its OMP brand has been selected by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as the exclusive supplier of suits and apparel for the drivers competing in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy Junior and FIA Karting Academy Trophy Senior championships for the three-year period 2025-2027.

At the FIA Karting World Championship KZ in Portimão, Portugal, the Tony Kart Racing Team took to the track with the Racer 401 RR and OMP suits in the 2025 livery. Although 2024 is not yet over, the Tony Kart Racing Team is already laying the groundwork for the 2025 season. Their racing division presented, directly on the track at the FIA Karting World Championship KZ, the new livery that will be used next year on the newly homologated Tony Kart Racer 401 T, along with the new official drivers’ racing suit, as always designed and produced by OMP.

Following Qualifying Heats held in variable grip conditions, Spain's Pedro Hiltbrand Aguilar took the lead in the intermediate standings of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, Italy's Cristian Bertuca maintained his lead in the FIA Karting World Cup - KZ2 and France's Anthony Abbasse took the lead in the FIA Karting International Super Cup - Masters.

The F4 Spanish Winter Championship continues making progress ahead of its imminent debut in 2025 and is pleased to announce a calendar consisting in three events of two Qualys & three races each between February and March.

At its meeting on 19th October 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland, the FIA World Motor Sport Council took the following decisions based on the proposals of the International Karting Commission.

Rocco Coronel raced in the French IAME Series Championship last weekend at the Circuit International Jean Brun karting circuit in Varennes-sur-Allier. The 12-year-old driver from Victory Lane had a dominant weekend and came out well even under the changing weather conditions. Because the son of Tom Coronel and Paulien Zwart also won the final race, he grabbed a coveted ticket for the IAME World Finals, which will be held at the Portuguese karting circuit of Portimão in November. Coronel scored the ticket at the same circuit where Max Verstappen crowned himself world champion in KZ1 in 2013.

This year, the collaboration between Sodikart and BRP-Rotax was again successful for the 22nd edition of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final, which took place in Portugal, at the Kartodrómo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão from 19th to 26th November. Since 2010, Sodikart has been a loyal partner of the Rotax world event as a chassis supplier. The ‘best of the best’ in each of the Rotax classes will ensure the race action will be sensational as ever once the competition gets underway mid-week, following the initial practice sessions. Eight categories are on the program in 2022 – with the introduction of the Rotax Project E20 Junior E-Kart class, boosting the numbers to bring a younger generation of racer closer to the sustainable future.
