The Sweden National Team drivers Andreas and Jessica Bäckman from Sweden today present their big news that in 2023, in addition to their already announced program in ADAC GT4 Germany with PROsport Racing, they will also share a car and compete together in the GT4 European Series for racing one in an Aston Martin GT4 car.

Aston Martin Racing today announced 24 fresh Aston Martin Vantage racers to be part of the 2023 Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy. The initiative’s next winner will receive Aston Martin Racing support and assistance through 2024 and a test in a Vantage GT3. Part of the 2023 AMR Driver Academy is the Swedish racer Jessica Bäckman as the only Swede and female driver.

The siblings Andreas and Jessica Bäckman from Sweden today announced that in 2023 they will be sharing a car and racing together in ADAC GT4 Germany for PROsport Racing Team in an Aston Martin GT4 car.

Last weekend, March 4-5th, the fifth round of the GT Winter Series was held at the Navarra circuit in northern Spain. Jessica Bäckman was on the starting grid for the first time in 2023, in a new car; Aston Martin AMR Vantage GT4 and for a new team; PROsport Racing Team. Jessica made an impressive GT4 debut where she drove home two second places in the races.

Jessica Bäckman from North of Sweden announces today that she will begin the 2023 season by entering the GT Winter Series at the Navarra track in Spain. It will be both a new car and a new team for Jessica as she will drive an Aston Martin AMR Vantage GT4 car together with the PROsport Racing Team.

Last weekend August 5–7th, Jessica Bäckman claimed two podiums in the fourth round of the ADAC TCR Germany at the legendary Nürburgring track in Germany. 

Jessica Bäckman took her first international race win at the ADAC TCR Germany premiere at the Oschersleben track in Germany.

This weekend, April 22-24^th, it's time for Jessica Bäckman to kick off the season in the German TCR championship ADAC TCR Germany - with a new car model Hyundai Veloster N TCR car and for a new team ROJA Motorsport.

The siblings Andreas and Jessica Bäckman from Sweden today announced that in 2022 they will be racing in two different championships, STCC and TCR Germany, for the first time.
Last time I raced in TCR Germany I was 2nd at the Hockenheimring and close to my first win. My goal for this season is to fight for the top positions in the championship and to take my first win in TCR, Jessica Bäckman says.

This weekend Jessica Bäckman will compete in STCC (Scandinavian Touring Car Championship) at Scandinavian Raceway, Anderstorp together with Brink Motorsport. It will be both a new team and a completely new car for Jessica, as she will drive an Audi RS 3 LMS TCR car for the first time. "It will be very fun to compete in Sweden again, it is two years since I competed in STCC and it ended well with a podium position", Jessica Bäckman says.

The siblings Andreas and Jessica Bäckman from Sweden are today presenting that they in 2021 are taking the step up to the toughest TCR series in the World – WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup.

Today it was announced that the Bäckman siblings Andreas and Jessica Bäckman from Sweden has been selected for the Swedish National Team for car racing for the second consecutive year. "This is a great opportunity for us to continue our development as racing drivers and we are extremely proud to once again be part of the Swedish National Team this season" Andreas Bäckman says.

Andreas and Jessica Bäckman have been selected by Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing to be part of their Junior Driver initiative that supports young racing drivers for the second year in a row. It feels super exciting to be one of the few chosen racing drivers for the Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing Junior Driver initiative once again, Andreas says.

On February 22nd, the Näringslivsgalan (a business gala) was held in Boden with the purpose of honouring the city's empowerment. Several awards were announced, including Citizen of the Year in Boden, where racing driver Jessica Bäckman has been selected as the winner. “2019 is a year I will never forget and to be able to celebrate my successes with this award feels great”, Jessica says.
