Melbourne’s Grand Prix week started off with a bang with the Stars of Karting Event at Port Melbourne’s Todd Road facility on Monday. The short and sharp format saw qualifying followed up by a Sprint race and Feature race for the four feature categories.

Alexandros Kattoulas will make his debut in the GB4 Championship with Elite Motorsport this year. The 19-year-old Japanese/Greek driver made his single-seater race debut at Donington Park last September in the GB3 Championship, racing the Tatuus MSV-022 machine that has now been modified for GB4 use in 2025.

The 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) season was an extraordinary showcase of young talent and determination, highlighted by record-breaking performances and new milestones. The Spanish weekend was decisive for the fate of the Italian F.4 Championship, with the final closure of the drivers’ standings and Freddie Slater’s dominant triumph. The race that brought the weekend to a close marked the first win for Jack Beeton, the Australian driver from US Racing who has been one of the season’s revelations. Beeton, after standing on the second step of the podium seven times this year—most recently in Race 1 at Barcelona—finally celebrated from the top spot.

The British driver sealed the deal in Barcelona with the win in Race 2. Prema Racing mathematically confirmed their Team Trophy victory.

In Barcelona, during the first of the 3 races in the penultimate round of the Italian F.4 Championship, Freddie Slater from Prema Racing claimed his twelfth win of the season, coming within a hair’s breadth of securing the title. With US Racing’s Akshay Bohra stalling on pole at the start, the only driver to keep the fight alive until Sunday was Hiyu Yamakoshi from Van Amersfoort Racing.

The International Circuit Napoli in Sarno is about to host the second round of the WSK Euro Series, from September 25th to 29th, and will decide the winners of 2024 season enriching a particularly prestigious Hall of Fame.

After an exciting race weekend at Mugello, the Italian F4 Championship circus moves to France for the fifth round of the season, which will be held this weekend (July 20-21) at the historic Paul Ricard circuit. No rest for the competitors, as the action resumes immediately after the thrilling challenges on the Tuscan track.

Everything is now ready for the first karting event of the year, the WSK Champions Cup that will take place at South Garda Karting in Lonato from January 17 to 21, 2024. With approximately 280 drivers already confirmed, it immediately establishes itself among the favorite races to kick off the new season. For this occasion, the MINI, OKNJ, OKJ, OK and KZ2 categories take to the track, featuring the most qualified manufacturers and teams, along with many innovations in the competitive evolution of the drivers – from category transitions among the youngest to new experiences for the more experienced drivers.

Qualifying practice and the initial heats of the weekend will be on Friday, November 24th. Additional heats will follow on Saturday, while the Prefinals and Finals will enjoy Live Streaming on TV on Sunday, November 26th.

The WSK Final Cup is gearing up to end the season with another strong participation in the two rounds to be held on November 19th in Lonato and November 26th in Franciacorta.
