Sofia Zanfari takes another step forward in Formula 4

After a remarkable rise in international karting, Sofia Zanfari is taking on a new challenge by proudly joining the FFSA Academy to compete in the 2025 French Formula 4 Championship. At just 18 years of age, the Moroccan driver is aiming to reach the highest levels of motorsport.

A solid international career

Since her debut in the 60 Mini in 2014, Sofia has amassed experience on circuits in Europe, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Competing in OK and OK-N, she distinguished herself in the Champions of the Future Academy Program OK-N, a programme promoting female drivers. Her commitment and ability to adapt to the best of her generation make her a promising driver.

A single-seater ambition

Her move to Formula 4 represents a key stage in her career plan. The FFSA Academy will offer her a professional environment, where the identical FIA F4 single-seaters guarantee fair competition, revealing future talent.

Sofia has set her sights even higher: to join the F1 Academy, the all-women's series created to give young drivers access to the highest echelons. Headed by Susie Wolff, this category enjoys a high profile thanks to its inclusion in the Formula 1 Grand Prix calendar.

A demanding programme for a major challenge

Sofia will defend the colours of Morocco at six rounds of the 2025 French F4 Championship:
19 - 21 April: Nogaro
09 - 11 May: Dijon
20 - 22 June: Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium)
31 July - 02 August: Magny-Cours
12 - 14 September: Lédenon
25 - 27 September: Le Mans

With prestigious circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps and Le Mans, she will have to face stiff competition and seize every opportunity to shine.

A role model for the new generation

Beyond the track, Sofia sets an example for young female drivers, proving that passion, hard work and determination are the keys to achieving her goals.

Alongside her sporting career, she is continuing her studies in the first year of the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) at EM Lyon Business School and developing her company Z1 Buggy, based at the Pullman Mazagan Royal Golf-Spa and in Marrakech. As the first female Moroccan driver to compete in a single-seater, she marks a historic step forward for her country.

With her ambition and determination, Sofia Zanfari is undoubtedly a name to watch in 2025!
