Representing Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Academy Programme and F1 Academy, Rafaela Ferreira will make history as the first Red Bull Academy Programme driver to participate in a Red Bull showrun event. The first female Brazilian F4 race winner, Rafaela is poised to entertain the fans and bring the world of F1 Academy to her home country on the streets of Curitiba, Brazil on March 15, 2025. Originally hailing from Santa Catarina, Brazil, just a few hours away from Curitiba, Rafaela will drive in front of a home crowd for the first time as a Red Bull driver and in full Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Academy Programme livery and kit.
Ahead of her F1 Academy debut over the Chinese Grand Prix weekend in Shanghai, Rafaela will be driving a VCARB liveried Formula 4 car, which is similar to her F1 Academy challenger for 2025, as part of the free and public event that will transform the iconic Avenida Cândido de Abreu into a true stage for speed.
Alongside Rafaela, showrun veteran drivers Patrick Friesacher and Scott Speed will be electrifying the streets of Curitiba in championship-winning RB7 Formula One cars, a legendary car that was driven by four-time WDC, Sebastian Vettel. Showruns offer a one-of-a-kind and thrilling experience to fans and unparalleled access to the world of Red Bull. The full event line-up includes a multitude of Brazilian talent and entertainment, including a mini parade of cars and motorcycles, a Ford Performance presentation, motorcycle stunts, and showruns of cars across F4, Porsche Cup, F1, and more.
Rafaela Ferreira, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Academy Programme Driver, said: “It’s an honour for me to take part in an event like this, which is so diverse and so cool as well. I must admit I’m excited to drive an F4 here in Brazil again, and I’m really looking forward to participating in the Red Bull showrun, together with Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Academy Programme, who has been supporting me at this very important moment in my career. I’m so happy to be part of an event of this scale, with so many passionate motorsport fans. Not to mention it’s always great to come back to Brazil. I’m excited to drive through the streets of Curitiba!”
