Positive weekend for the CRG Racing Team at the WSK Final Cup

A long and positive racing season for the CRG Racing Team came to an end with the 2nd Round of the WSK Final Cup on the Cremona track. This last international event of the year confirmed the great competitiveness achieved in the OK Junior category, where work is underway towards 2025 and where Sebastian Minns and Asher Ochstein have had a weekend as great protagonists since the eliminatory Heats. In the intermediate penalty classification, Ochstein obtained 9th place on the grid for the Final out of 69 registered drivers and could have fought for the podium, but a contact at the start immediately forced him to retire. Sebastian Minns was also among the fastest on the track, winning the Pre-Final B, but then a penalty for the spoiler relegated him to P11 and consequently also to the starting grid of the Final, a race where once again he did see an excellent pace returning to the top ten before a new penalty relegated him to P20.

As for Manu Miguez, unfortunately, due to some contacts in the Heat, the Spanish driver was left out of the Final, just as it wasn't a lucky weekend from this point of view for Michael Ider and Filippo Donanzan in the OK category. The MINI team once again had a great weekend celebrating a nice podium for Daniel Pasquali, P1 in the Under 10 category where Antonio Ianni also fought to the finish line for the podium finishing P5, exactly like Achille Rea in the Mini Gr3 class. Jason Kosmopoulos and Enzo Stambaugh also had a solid weekend in the MINI Gr.3 category.

The Cremona race closed a season which saw the CRG Racing Team involved in all categories and in the most important Championships, with the priority objective of developing CRG chassis for every type of tire and engine. It was a season full of successes, among which the OK world title of Ethan Jeff-Hall, obtained last September in England, stands out, but also the 2nd place of Gabriel Gomez again in OK in the European Championship and the 3rd one of Viktor Gustavsson in the KZ class in the FIA European Championship. Engines will not shut down yet for 2024: before the end-of-year holidays in fact, some technical test sessions are scheduled to introduce some new drivers to the team and better prepare for the 2025 season.
