In the Mini class there will be the KGT Italian standard-bearer Riccardo Ianiello at his first experience overseas.
The KGT international path will continue during the year taking part to the WSK Euro Series, where the team confirmed the two Roman drivers Valerio Marzi in OK Junior and Riccardo Ianniello in the Mini class. The two drivers will take part also to the famous Trofeo “Andrea Margutti”, to the ACI Sport Italian Championship and to the Rok Cup Area Nord where the team will also field some international drivers including Charl Visser, who will debut in the Super Rok class, Kwanda Mokoena , who will remain in the Junior Rok, and Luwive Sambudla and Vladimiro De Pascale in Mini Rok. The last will continue his learning path in the Rok Cup Area Nord enhancing his 2018 Rookie of the Year award. All the above mentionated drivers will take part to the two finals of the Vortex single brand series: Rok Cup Italy and Rok Cup International Final.
The team has confirmed that will use FA Kart chassis by OTK Group and it will use Vortex engines for the Rok Cup and Iame engines for the OK Junior and the X-30. Other drivers are still to be defined in the next weeks.
Commitments don’t end there because new faces are getting into the Italian karting scene thanks to the Roma Karting Series project, amateurish championship promoted by Stefano Tredicine itself at his indoor track HolykartRoma that is promoting this sport and, thanks to his commitment, a few drivers will debut in the Rok Cup Area Centro, where they can start their outdoor karting career.
“Another extremely intensive season that will take us to race out of national borders awaits us. Being chosen by NF Sports and by Rubens Barrichello as staff dedicated to follow his sons and the other drivers at the Florida Winter Tour it’s a huge honor for us! We hope that our Riccardo Ianniello can grow from this experience overseas. In the meantime Valerio Marzi will train during the WSK Super Master Series tests to get used to that level of competition before the debut in the WSK Euro Series. The support to teams and drivers committed in the various national and international competition, both Rok and X-30, will not fail, so we can’t wait to start this new and exciting season! I wish ‘good luck’ to all my drivers with the hope that this 2019 will enrich our palmares!” comments Stefano Tredicine.
