Spectacle did not go missing at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato on June 30th during the sixth edition of the Summer Trophy, despite the hot weather made this race even more challenging before the main event of the season: the World Championship KZ and KZ2 that will take place in Lonato on September 22nd.

A total of 190 of the 200 entered drivers made it to the track at the 6th Summer Trophy and have been competing in the National categories KZ2, KZN Under and Over, 60 Mini, Entry Level, and in the Rok Cup Trophy North Area.

The KZ2 scene was dominated by the French driver Emilien Denner (Sodikart-Tm), who took the chance to prepare at best the forthcoming World Championship. The young Frenchman displayed all his potential taking a fair and square win. Hats off! Behind him, teammate Jean Nomblot and the great William Lanzeni on CKR-Tm completed the top 3. The KZN Under race was dominated by Matteo Dondi (Intrepid-Tm), who led Paolo Castagnetti (GP-Tm) and Christian Cobellini (VRK-Tm). The KZN Over’s victory went to Alessandro Zanoni (Kubica-Tm) following the penalty handed to Manuele Quintarelli (Kubica-Tm) for jumping the start. The second and third positions went respectively to Marco Tessarolo (Maranello-Tm) and Ferruccio Alacqua (Parolin-Tm).

Roberto Castellozzi had the upper hand in 60 Mini on Filippo Pola and Emanuele Olivieri, all on Energy-Tm. In Entry-Level the victory went to Tommaso Cristoforo from Pietro Bagutti to Giacomo Giusto, all on Energy-Lke.

The French Edgar Anpilogov (Parolin) confirmed to be victorious this time around too in Mini Rok and closed the final leading Riccardo Ianniello (FA Kart) and the Austrian Blum Kiano (FA Kart). The young South-African Nicolas Roos (Kosmic) secured a very good fourth place.

A good leap forward in the Junior Rok’s classification was made by Daniele Federici (Tony Kart), who took a solid win leading Diego Stifter (Tecno) and Leonardo Megna (Tony Kart), while classification leader Pietro Ragone (Tony Kart) was relegated to P11 but kept the lead of the standings nevertheless.

Nicolò Cuman (Tecno) managed to win the Rok Senior race and to get some ground back on Giorgio Molinari (Exprit), who was third at the flag after being overtaken in the closing laps by  Emanuele Moncini (Exprit).

The victory in Rok Super went to Mattia D’Abramo (Tony Kart) who confirmed his classification lead. The second and third place went respectively to Pietro Delli Guanti (Exprit) and Domenico Cicognini (Intrepid). The other protagonist of the championship, Alex Machado (Tony Kart) ended sixth due to a 10s time penalty.
