Elite Motorsport’s Alex Kattoulas enjoyed an ideal Saturday at Silverstone, as the Japanese-Greek contender claimed both pole positons on offer in qualifying, took a dominant race one win and secured the GB4 Championship lead in the process.

Hillspeed’s Freddie Slater was the driver to beat as the GB3 Championship’s new era began in style at Silverstone on Saturday. 

33 heats decided the starting grids for the Final Phase at Wackersdorf, host of the opening round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy. After a challenging day, Flavio Caira returned to the podium on Saturday during the second round of the GK4 Kart Series. The 14-year-old driver from Hennuyères captured an impressive second place in the final of the IAME X30 Juniors class at the Genk circuit, after securing pole position earlier in the day.
