As in 2021, the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals is heading for the Middle East for the 23rd edition of this benchmark event, which will take place from 3rd to 9th December at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit.
Since 2010, Sodi has been a loyal partner of the Rotax World Finals as a chassis supplier. In its 14th year of close collaboration with BRP-Rotax as part of the RMCGF, Sodikart is supplying the Senior Max chassis in addition to the E20 Master and E20 Senior, i.e. three Sodi categories. Considered as the premier category with its talented and ambitious drivers, Senior MAX is a fine showcase for the French factory's expertise. Mobilising the entire Sodikart staff, from R&D to logistics, procurement, production and assembly, 74 Sigma RS3 2023 karts are ready to race with their latest-generation Rotax MAX 125 Evo engines. These were shipped to the Persian Gulf in three containers several months ago, while BRP-Rotax managed the E20 Master and E20 Senior electric karts based on Sodi DD2 chassis.
400 drivers, 60 nations and eight categories: the key figures for this 23rd edition, which comes to a close on Saturday 9th December with the eagerly awaited Finals. The competition can be followed on the internet thanks to daily live broadcasts.
A word from Bertrand Pignolet, Managing Director of Sodikart:
"The collaboration with BRP-Rotax is an important part of our success. Every year, the RMCGF is the most visible highlight. Sodikart is always proud to be present at this world event alongside BRP-Rotax. We are delighted to return to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sakhir circuit this year. The quality of the welcome and infrastructure, as well as the beauty of the track, undeniably enhance the image of karting. It's an ideal setting for introducing a wide range of drivers to the quality of our Sodi Sigma RS3 chassis, which perform at all levels of competition throughout the year. Sodikart also makes it a point of honour to demonstrate the efficiency of its customer service throughout the event."
Sodikart has perfect control over every aspect of this extraordinary competition. As well as preparing the karts in advance of the competition, a nine-strong technical team will be on hand to give the drivers all the advice they need to ensure the race goes smoothly and to supply them with the spare parts they need with their usual much-appreciated professionalism. This service complements the Sodi Book given to all participants, which contains a wealth of information to help them make the most of their Sodi experience.
