Welsh karting sensation Cameron Nelson demonstrated his exceptional racing prowess on Sunday by securing a commanding victory in the BNL Golden Trophy at Circuit Genk. The 14-year-old from Pontyclun, representing Dan Holland Racing, dominated the final race with an impressive 8.7-second margin, marking a perfect conclusion to his remarkable season.

BRP-Rotax proudly announces that its full lineup of Rotax 125 MAX Evo Kart Engines and E20 Powertrain has received official CIK-FIA Approval since the 2024 racing season. The RMC Asia Festival, a marquee event for racing enthusiasts since its inception in 2022, is gearing up for its next edition with some exciting updates. 2024 marked the 25th anniversary of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals on the prestigious Italian circuit of Sarno. It was also the 15th anniversary of the collaboration between BRP-Rotax and Sodikart for the supply of chassis.

An emblematic player in world karting and an active partner of BRP-Rotax since 2012, Birel ART brilliantly highlighted the quality of its chassis and its know-how at the prestigious Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. Involved in the Mini Max, Max DD2 and also DD2 Masters categories with its products in the colours of Charles Leclerc, the Italian factory supplied more than 180 karts for this key event of the season organised in 2024 in Italy, on the Naples International Circuit in Sarno.

The day started under cool and calm conditions at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy, but the track action heated up throughout the day, concluding with three Qualifying Practice sessions. Setting the grids in Micro MAX, Mini MAX, and MAX DD2 Masters, the remaining classes will qualify tomorrow, with wheel-to-wheel action to follow. Of note, Non-Qualifying Practice 6 for Junior MAX Even, Senior MAX Odd and Even, MAX DD2 Odd and Even were cancelled today due to heavy rain, as those classes still have Non-Qualifying Practice 7 tomorrow morning.

For its 25th year, the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals returns to Italy and the Sarno circuit, which it visited in 2019. From 19th to 26th October 2024, the Circuito Internazionale Napoli will host the Rotax World Grand Finals on a revamped track.
