On the occasion of the fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series, the Tony Kart Racing Team collects a success at the Franciacorta Karting Track, Italy. On the circuit of Castrezzato, the Tony Kart Racer 401 T chassis is leader in the OKJ category, powered by the Vortex VTJ, and is also in the running for an important result in OK, together with the VTS engine of the OTK Kart Group’s engine division. The "Racer" also attends the KZ2 weekend with the Vortex VTZ, while the Tony Kart Rookie – together with the VTM engine – takes part in the races of the MINI categories.

In OKJ, Ilie Tristan Crisan gains the first victory of the category, after having climbed on the third step of the podium in the previous round at Lonato del Garda. The Canadian driver is a candidate since Friday for the role of main protagonist of the category: he first obtains the second best time of group 2 of the qualifying practices and then in the following qualifying heats he conquers a success and two top-3 results, placing third in the intermediate standings on Saturday evening. In Sunday's final, Crisan takes advantage of his start from the second row and, after the first corners becomes leader of the race. At the end of a tough fight with his rivals with a decisive overtaking on the penultimate lap, their driver is able to cross the finish line in first place and, with this result, momentarily occupies the third place in the championship.

In his second competition with the Tony Kart Racing Team, Mateo Rivals firmly enters the first half of the standings during the weekend and easily has access to the final, missed by the Rookies Nikita Ljubimov. Henri Constant Kumpen, Julian Frasnelli and Oliveri Sini – also in their first full season among the "Juniors" – which run useful kilometers to further increase their experience in a very competitive category, with 80 drivers at the starting grid.

In OK, also Jindřich Pešl is in the running for an important position in the standings, and in the qualifyings already signs the fastest lap (46.165 seconds) in group 2, just 0.011 seconds from pole position. After that, the Czech driver collects a haul of two victories and a second place in the qualifying heats, other than a further second place in the prefinal A, thus securing the second starting box for the final. Pešl does not have an easy start from the outside line, nevertheless, he runs firmly in second place, very close to the leader of the race. Only on the last lap, does their rider give up two positions ending close to the podium. Thomas Pradier and Oliver Rasmussen also take part in the final, while Gabriel Daniel Stilp narrowly misses the qualifying.

In the MINI Gr.3 category, Jean Poujol shows off with two top-3 places and a fastest lap during the qualifying heats and with a success in the prefinal A on Sunday morning, which allows him to start the final from the second row. The French driver also takes the lead in the first laps of the last race of the weekend and, despite being involved in a multiple accident, remains in contention for the podium. Only an unlucky collision in the last corners prevents Poujol from closing the Franciacorta round with an important result.

Victor Thomas Gorun and Linghan Li are the authors of two remarkable comebacks in the final, respectively of 13 and 12 positions, with the Romanian driver able to finish in the top ten. Henri Möhring and Tiberius Müller also attend the final. Finally, Miguel Enrique Manzano Suarez shows good potential throughout the weekend.

In the MINI Gr.3 U10, on the occasion of the second race with the official Tony Kart colors, Farel Dugat Beretta hits the top-10 at the end of the qualifying heats and asserts himself in the final.

In KZ2 class, Tom Leuillet and Marijn Kremers continue to work alongside the Racing Team technicians, in view of the upcoming scheduled events.

No break is planned for the Tony Kart Racing Team, back on track this weekend for the fifth and final round of the WSK Super Master Series in Viterbo (13th – 16th March).
