KZ2 classification leader Alex Irlando will be the home hero as he is from Locorotondo (BA). Irlando is leading the pack at 77 points, while the French Adrien Renaudin (both on Sodi Kart-TM-Bridgestone) follows at 59 points. The third place of the standings is currently occupied by the Italian Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-Vortex) who scored 47 points. The Russian Kirill Smal (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) leads Gabriele Minì (Parolin-Parilla) in OK Junior. Following an hard-fought opener in Adria, the two are currently standing at 87 and 60 points, and lead the Estonian Paul Aron (FA Kart-Vortex), who is third at 38 points. The Norwegian Martinius Stenshorne (Parolin-TM-Vega) is leading 60 Mini at 80 points. Behind him, the Pole Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (Parolin-TM) hauled 48 points so far, while the Italian Francesco Pulito (IP Karting-TM) is third at 42.
