September 6, 2022 – With the second event of the renewed WKA Gold Cup series set for this weekend, series officials are pleased to announce tentative 2023 Gold Cup dates and a new format that will see North and South regions along with a Grand Nationals North/South Shootout.
“This is a totally different kind of program for 2023,” explains WKA’s Mike Tetreault. “We always want to keep the racers’ interest in mind and hope this new format will appeal to the masses. The North/South Regions will run three separate event weekends each and then meet in the Carolinas for a Grand Nationals Shootout for the overall series championships.”
