Tony Kart’s pole position and podium in Lonato del Garda

On the occasion of the third round of the WSK Super Master Series, the Tony Kart Racer 401 T chassis sets the best chrono time in OKJ qualifyings with Ilie Tristan Crisan, third place in Sunday afternoon's final.

Tony Kart Racing Team is on the podium again in the WSK Super Master Series. The new Tony Kart Racer 401 T chassis, together with the Vortex VTJ engine, conquers the third place in the OKJ category in Lonato del Garda, the third round of the 2025 championship, after taking the pole position in the qualifying session. The ‘Racer’ also attends the KZ2 and OK categories’ competitions, with Vortex's VTZ and VTS engines respectively, while the Tony Kart Rookie is at the start of the MINI Gr.3 and MINI Gr.3 U10 categories, powered by the VTM engine of OTK Kart Group's ‘engine division’.

In OKJ, a category counting as many as 83 participants, Ilie Tristan Crisan opens the event in Lonato del Garda in the best possible way, setting the absolute best time in the qualifyings with 47.009 seconds: a Chrono reference that will prove to be unbeaten for the rest of the weekend. The Canadian driver runs tough also in the following qualifying heats - where he is able to gain two victories, a third, and a fourth place – winning the A pre-final on Sunday morning, with which he secures the pole position for the afternoon final. In the decisive race, featured by the rain, Crisan jumps perfectly and leads the group in the first six laps. With his third place in the final, he momentarily takes the third position in the championship standings, two rounds to the end.

Augustus Toniolo performs a weekend in crescendo, coming close to the top 10 in the standings both at the end of the qualifying heats and in the final. Positive debut with the Tony Kart colours for Mateo Rivals, third in group 2 of the Chrono Times and able to recover eight positions during the final. Julian Frasnelli, Henri Constant Kumpen, Oliveri Sini and Nikita Ljubimov continue their learning path among the ‘Juniors’: all are actually experiencing their first full season in this category.

In the MINI Gr.3 class, Victor Thomas Gorun and Jean Poujol are the main bearers of the Tony Kart Racing Team. The Romanian driver recovers 11 positions in the intermediate rankings at the end of the qualifying heats and finishes third in Prefinal A, while the French driver is the third fastest one in Group 2 of the qualifying heats gaining the second place in the eliminatory heats. In a final held under difficult weather conditions, the two drivers are able to finish the race in the top-six list. Linghan Li also attends the race and gains five positions over the starting grid.

Miguel Enrique Manzano Suarez comes close to entering the final, while Henri Möhring, Tiberius Müller and Andrea Iannone run useful kilometres in view of the next round.

In the MINI Gr.3 U10, Farel Dugat Beretta attends his first race with their sporting division and shows off in Sunday's final with a concrete 13-place comeback.

In OK class, Jindřich Pešl is once again their top driver of the category. The Czech driver closes the qualifying heats with a third place as his best result and finishes the pre-final A in third position, but a series of collisions in the final prevent him from bringing home an important placing. Despite setting the third fastest time in Sunday morning's warm-up, Gabriel Daniel Stilp narrowly misses the qualifying for the final, like his teammate Thomas Pradier. Oliver Rasmussen signs some interesting chrono times in the whole weekend.

In KZ2 class, Tom Leuillet and Marijn Kremers work tirelessly with the Racing Team, with the aim of improving their performances for the next scheduled races.

The Tony Kart Racing Team will be back on track in two weeks, on the occasion of the fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series at the Franciacorta Karting Track in Castrezzato (March 6th – 9th).
