Tony Kart: Let’s start the 2020 season

With the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, the new competitive year of the Tony Kart Racing Team is starting. Appointment at the Adria Karting Raceway with the drivers of the OK, OKJ and Mini categories. 

The winter break was short and full of tests, changes and news. Many activities, aimed at preparing for the start of the 2020 season, that the Tony Kart Racing Team is going to face with the same determination as ever. The first appointment is scheduled this weekend at the Adria Karting Raceway, for the 1st of the four rounds of the 2020 WSK Super Master Series. Immediately an important test bench, that their drivers are going to face being able to rely on the performances of the Tony Kart Racer 401R chassis and, for the first time, the Tony Kart Rookie 2020, both powered by Vortex.

Three categories in the race. In OK they will line up four competitive drivers such as the current World Champion Lorenzo Travisanutto, the 2016 World Champion Pedro Hiltbrand, Joseph Turney and the newly promoted Diego Contecha, who will be able to rely on his expert teammates to face the new category.

Lots of news in the OKJ line-up, where Maxim Rehm, Eron Rexhepi and Karol Pasiewicz will take their place under our tent. With them, there will also be the British duo made up by Aiden Neate and Harley Keeble, both already in the Tony Kart Racing Team during last season.

Concerning the MINI category, they will line up a big group of young drivers in Adria, with the new entry Kai Sorensen together with James Egozi, Jules Caranta, Jimmy Helias and Andreas Cardenas.

In Adria, the shifter karts will not join the race, but they are pleased to announce that, starting from the 2nd round of the WSK Super Master Series, also Paul Evrard will be part of the Tony Kart Racing Team in KZ2, who will wear our colours in all FIA and WSK competitions for the shifter class.

The appointment on the track is with the Qualifying practices on Friday, followed by the Qualifying Heats on Saturday. In the end, on Sunday, prefinals and finals will be broadcasted in live streaming.
