Thrills and Surprises in Wet Conditions: The 2025 IAME Euro Series Launches in Cremona!

The 2025 IAME Euro Series commenced with its inaugural event at the Kartodromo Cremona Circuit, nestled near San Martino del Lago in the picturesque Lombardy region of northern Italy. This marked the first occasion the series visited this technical 1.224 km karting track, renowned for its mix of tight corners and fast straights, providing a dynamic racing experience. ​
 

The event, held from March 19 to 23, experienced a variety of weather conditions. The weekend began dry but cloudy but as the event progressed, the weather shifted, bringing wetter conditions that added an extra layer of complexity to the races. Despite the unpredictable weather, drivers across all categories showcased exceptional skill and adaptability, making the opening round of the series both thrilling and memorable.



 

X30 Senior – Cremona Delivers a Shake-Up in the Final

The opening round of the 2025 IAME Euro Series saw the X30 Senior field deliver non-stop action at Kartodromo Cremona. In Qualifying Practice, it was Maximiano Radeck Da Silva who topped the timesheets, followed by Danny Carenini, Sam Woolley, Riccardo Ferrari, and Harrison Mackie.
 

As the heats unfolded, Carenini rose to the top with commanding drives, placing 1st overall, ahead of Mackie, Clement Outran, Kevin Lantinga, and Ferrari. The Super Heats maintained the intensity, with Carenini again leading the way, with Lantinga, Outran, Mackie, and Matthias Vandekerckhove breaking into the top five behind him.
 

In the Final, however, the story took a turn. Vandekerckhove surged to victory, pulling off one of the most impressive drives of the weekend. Lantinga held strong in P2, capping off a consistent performance, while Andy Ratel charged his way through to P3. Zac Green finished behind them after a steady climb, and Cristian Biasatti rounded out the top five, sealing a dramatic end to a tightly contested weekend.

X30 Junior – Cranham Converts Super Heat Momentum into Victory

X30 Junior kicked off with a strong pace in Qualifying Practice from Dan Allemann, Benjamin Westwoord, Jesse Phillips, and Finlay Lines. As the heats progressed, Phillips led the way in the standings with Cranham and De Raedemaeker close behind, while Allemann and Owen also delivered solid performances.
 

In the Final, Cranham capitalised on his strong form to take a well-earned victory while Louis Baziret climbed through the pack to finish just behind, with Phillips holding firm in the front group. Dider Kreeft impressed with a strong charge, while Archie Owen completed the top five after a consistent run across the weekend.

X30 Mini – House Dominates in Cremona Final

The weekend started with tight margins in Qualifying Practice, where Mattis Brageot, Aurelio Longhitano, Wynn Godschalk, Daniel Ferguson, and Charles Clough each topped their respective groups. As the heats played out, George House emerged as the standout performer, with Brageot, Austin Newstead, Mason Brooks, and Milan Becu also delivering strong results to stay at the sharp end.
 

House continued his run in the Super Heats and carried that momentum straight into the Final, where he delivered a commanding performance to take the win. Ferguson followed with a strong drive to secure the next spot across the line, just ahead of Lorenzo Di Pietrantonio. Brageot initially crossed in the top three but was demoted after a time penalty, while Christian Coby rounded out the top five after a consistent and competitive run.

The opening round of the 2025 IAME Euro Series at Cremona delivered everything we’ve come to expect from top-level karting—tight battles, surprise performances, and plenty of drama across all categories. With the first points now on the board and early title contenders beginning to emerge, the championship is already shaping up to be fiercely competitive.
 

The series now shifts focus to Round 2 at Circuito Internacional de Zuera, where drivers will face one of the fastest and most iconic tracks on the calendar. Expect high-speed action, drafting battles, and another intense weekend as the fight for the Euro Series title continues.
