Third round of the F4 Championship at Portimao with Van´t Hoff leading the stands

The Internacional Track Do Algarve hosts this 16th and 17th July the third round of the Spanish Formula 4 with Dilano Van’t Hoff leading the championship, a month and a half after the double of Quique Bordas and the victory of the Dutch driver of MP Motorsport in the last race held at the Navarre track.

A third weekend of competition in which the twenty-five drivers of the category will race in one of the most traditional circuits in Portugal. The Portimao track, which has witnessed major international competitions held in recent years in Portugal, has established itself as one of the most illustrious circuits on the Iberian Peninsula. Its 18 corners, 4.692 kilometres and its continuous changes of gradient will make this weekend a real challenge for all the drivers on the grid.

As for the fight for the championship, after the results in Navarra, Dilano Van’t Hoff will be back to defend his leading position. The Dutchman, who has only been off the podium in the short race in Navarra, will try to keep the margin to his closest pursuers, Quique Bordas and Noah Degnbol. While in Navarra Quique Bordas added two important victories that placed him second in the championship, Noah Degnbol continues with his constant and regular work in third position.

Regarding the team championship, MP Motorsport will try to maintain its leading position, which it has held since the first round of the championship in Spa with 189 points, 84 points ahead of the second placed team, the Spanish Formula of Champions.
Unlike in Navarra, where the action took place on Saturday and Sunday, in Portimao it will be Friday and Saturday when the single-seaters will be on the Portuguese tarmac.

The first feature race of the weekend will be held on Friday afternoon from 17:50h, with the short race and the second feature race taking place on Saturday at 9:00h and 11:30h respectively.

All three races can be followed in full on our YouTube channels, in Spanish and in this race also in English, and on the Twitch channel. In addition to having all the times published on our website and followed through the rest of our Instagram, twitter and Facebook channels.
