THIRD ACT OF THE OK-OKJ EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN GERMANY

The Tony Kart Racing Team will be engaged on the German Ampfing circuit on the weekend of June, 14th-17th, on the occasion of the third round of the FIA Karting European Championship for the OK-OKJ categories.

More than twenty days have passed since Tony Kart Racing Team's last competitive engagement, when our drivers performed at best on the occasion of the second roundof the OK-OKJ European Championship held at the English PF Internationalcircuit. After this break, our Tony Kart 401S Racer are ready to get back on track, for the third round of the CIK-FIA Karting European Championship reserved for the Senior and Junior single-speed categories.
This time it will be the German Ampfing circuitto turn on the lights, where the German Kart Grand Prix will start: it will be a special appointment since this circuit is back in the international competitions after 12 years of absence, particularly from that far away 2006 in which the expert Marco Ardigò won the European Championship when the Formula A category still existed.

Therefore, in Ampfing, our drivers are ready to fight for the Championship’s leadership: after the excellent second place gained in the final in England, David Vidales is fourth in the overall OK category ranking, very close to the Top 3. His goal, consequently, is to do even better in Germany in order to have a chance in the fight for the final victory. His teammate Noah Milell, however, is called to redeem the collision he incurred at the start of the final on the PFI circuit, in order to repeat what was done in the first part of the season.

In the OKJ category, instead, our Tony Kart 401S Racer powered by Vortexwill be brought to the track by the trio of Sebastian Montoya, Laurens Van Hoepenand Josep Maria Martì, who will be joined by a new driver. He is Nikita Bedrin. This appointment, therefore, will be for him the first time at the wheel of an official chassis with the Tony Kart Racing Team’s colours.
