The Industries Trophy influenced by the rain

The conditions of the track were almost impossible during Heats and Finals, but the CRG drivers achieved many positive placements, despite several highs and lows.

The 47th edition of the Industries Trophy, held in Lonato on October 28th, will be remembered as one of the wettest races of the season. The rain influenced both Saturday, dedicated to the heats, and Sunday during the finals.

The CRG drivers stood out in all the 4 categories, despite the difficult track conditions. In 60 Mini the drivers of the Gamoto Team played the leading role, especially with the Russian Dmitry Matveev in 4th place, whilst Mark Dubnitski and Enzo Tarnvanichkul ended in 9th and 13th place.

In OKJ Alfio Spina was forced to retire in the last heat for a problem to the spark plug, so he raced the repechage, but then in the final he made an extraordinary race regaining 16 positions until finishing in 15th place (18th in the end for a penalty, right after his team mate Ho Zong).

In KZ2, once again Benjamin Tornqvist proved to be one of the top drivers, ending in 4th place in a race full of contacts and 24 penalties given by the Stewards. Also Emilien Denner (Kalì Kart) was given a penalty and ended only in 24th place, after being always among the fastest ones in all the free practices in dry conditions.

In the end, a beautiful podium was achieved by Danny Carenini in the X30, 2nd place with the Autoeuropa team.
