The A-Maxx Racing WKA eSports Series heads to Road America tonight for Round Three

It is a three-driver race at the top of the championship points standings for the A-Maxx Racing WKA eSports Series Presented by Summit Racing Equipment as drivers head to the virtual Sebring International Raceway tonight for round four of the five race series. Championship point leader Bryon Daley will lead the field of over fifty competitors into central Florida but is being pushed hard by Jake Drew and Nick Snell as only nine points separate the front three competitors.

“It is anyone’s championship,” expressed WKA President Kevin Williams. “Tonight’s event will be a very important one. If one of these three drivers have any sort of issue, it may be difficult for them to garner enough points next week to make a run at the title. We are looking forward to going green at 8:00pm!”

While Daley sits atop of the point standings with consistent finishes of second, sixth and the round three victory, he is coming under immense pressure from Drew who missed the opening event. Courtesy of his win in Daytona and runner-up finish at Road America, Drew has clearly put himself in position to win the title with two events remaining. Nick Snell, winner of round one at Charlotte Motors Speedway and podium finisher at Road America, currently sits in the third in the points chase. A slight misstep on his results record from Daytona with a ninth-place finish has put him nine points in arrears of Daley but not yet out of the fight. Michael Mersberger sits fourth in the championship standings while Austin Olds is fifth, twenty-seven and twenty-eight points behind Daley respectively.

The A-Maxx Racing WKA eSports Series Presented by Summit Racing Equipment will conclude on May 25th as the series aims to get back on track shortly after that for the WKA Manufacturers Cup, the WKA Vega Road Racing Series and the WKA Maxxis Speedway Dirt Series. Registration for all three series are available by visiting www.WorldKarting.com.
