The winners of the WSK Open Series 2024 are: Niccolò Perico (MINI Gr.3 U10), Stan Ratajski (MINI Gr.3), Ilia Berezkin (OK-NJ), Karol Pasiewicz (OK-N), Cristian Bertuca (KZ2) and Davide Forè (KZ2 Masters).

The grand finale of the series will take place on Saturday, May 11th with the title decider for KZ2, KZ2 Masters, OK-N, OK-NJ, MINI Gr.3 and MINI Gr.3 U10. The first event held last month at the Franciacorta Karting Track saw the OK-N and OK-N Junior categories take to the track together for the first time in a WSK Promotion weekend, established by FIA Karting to facilitate the entry of drivers into OK and OKJ.

The victory went to Van Walstijn (KZ2), Forè (KZ2 Masters), Berezkin (OK-NJ), Marchesi (OK-N), Truchot (MINI Gr.3) and Perico (MINI Gr.3 U10).

After the heats, the lead is held by Van Walstijn (KZ2), Forè (KZ2 Masters), Perico (MINI U10), Pilipenco (MINI Gr.3), Manni (OKNJ) and Marchesi (OKN). The final stages with Live Streaming coverage will be on Sunday, April 7th.

The first qualifying heats name the initial protagonists of the Franciacorta weekend. The remaining heats will be run on Saturday, while the Final stages with Live Streaming coverage will be on Sunday, April 7th.

The temperature wasn't the only thing to rise during the Qualifying Heats which have been taking place since Friday afternoon in Italy, during a competition that on Sunday afternoon will decide the winners of the FIA Karting European Championships - OK and Junior as well as the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. Race direction and the stewards are keeping a close eye on compliance with the regulations.

Whether it was the large gaps between the fastest drivers or the relative underperformance of some of the best, Qualifying Practice at the FIA Karting event in Cremona (ITA) created a surprising situation for the rest of the competition. Louis Iglesias (FRA) was fastest in OK, Thibaut Ramaekers (BEL) dominated Junior Qualifying, and Wojciech Woda (POL) secured pole position in the Academy Trophy.

The new Danish circuit, the Rødby Karting Ring, provided a high-quality setting for its first appearance on the FIA Karting calendar. Rene Lammers (NLD) in OK, Oleksandr Bondarev (UKR) in OK-Junior and Vasileios Apostolidis (GRC) in Academy won the Finals.

The competition was fierce during the Qualifying Heats on the new circuit in Rødby, Denmark. Kean Nakamura-Berta (GBR) and Alex Powell (JAM) occupied the top two positions in the OK category, while Iacopo Martinese (ITA) took the lead in OK-Junior. The selection will continue on Sunday morning during the Super Heats, while two Qualifying Heats are still to be contested in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. Santino Panetta (ARG) and Vasileios Apostolidis (GRC) are currently level on points at the top of the standings.
