The new Danish circuit, the Rødby Karting Ring, provided a high-quality setting for its first appearance on the FIA Karting calendar. Rene Lammers (NLD) in OK, Oleksandr Bondarev (UKR) in OK-Junior and Vasileios Apostolidis (GRC) in Academy won the Finals.

The third round, this weekend, will bring the competitors together in Denmark on a recently built circuit at Rødby from 15th to 18th June. The competition was fierce during the Qualifying Heats on the new circuit in Rødby, Denmark. Kean Nakamura-Berta (GBR) and Alex Powell (JAM) occupied the top two positions in the OK category, while Iacopo Martinese (ITA) took the lead in OK-Junior. The selection will continue on Sunday morning during the Super Heats, while two Qualifying Heats are still to be contested in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. Santino Panetta (ARG) and Vasileios Apostolidis (GRC) are currently level on points at the top of the standings.

A second new country is on the international competition programme this year. After the Czech Republic, it was Denmark's turn to present a new track with the recently completed Rødby Karting Ring. The third round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series gave Parolin Motorsport a chance to get their bearings and secure two podium finishes in the OK-Junior class.

This event has attracted 180 participants (77 for OK and 103 for Junior) to compete on the 1246 meter track. The finals will be held on Saturday.

Launched in 2020 by promoter RGMMC, the Champions of the Future series has become a must for the best international drivers and teams. Some of the biggest names in the world have already won the competition, some of them now in single-seaters. In 2023, the Champions of the Future Euro Series will be held over five meetings optimally spread between March and September. Based on the FIA Karting regulations, the next season promises to be rich in quality and quantity in the OK and OK-Junior categories, with its calendar aligned with that of the European and World Championships!

BRP-Rotax is glad to announce the date for the second Danish Rotax E-Kart Championship which will take place at the Rødby Karting Ring from September 02 to 04, 2022. The Championship will run in both categories, Project E20 Junior and Senior, which will be awarded with a ticket to the RMC Grand Finals in Portugal in November.
