The first day of the ACI Racing Weekend at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza has concluded, with the excitement already building for the qualifying sessions of the final round of the Italian F.4 Championship. At the end of the two sessions, the polemen for the last weekend of the 2024 season are Jack Beeton, the Australian driver from US Racing, who will start from first position in Race 1, and Freddie Slater, the English driver from Prema Racing, who will, in turn, start at the front in Races 2 and 3.

The second day of the ACI Racing Weekend in Imola opened with Race 2 of the Italian F.4 Championship, the first race on track in the morning. Hiyu Yamakoshi, the Japanese driver for Van Amersfoort Racing, started from pole position and maintained control until the checkered flag. The Japanese driver was unstoppable, showcasing an exhilarating pace. No issues arose even during the race restart on the last lap after a stop caused by a collision between Jan Koller (BVM Racing) and Oleksandr Savinkov (AKM Motorsport) at Tamburello.

After two very convincing days of testing on Thursday and Friday for Birel ART, the rain arrived and overshadowed the Timed Qualifying. In the World Championship, the Italian team's drivers were unable to match their performance levels and had to fight their way back up the field during the Qualifying phase. The 42 positions gained by Harley Keeble in OK and the 66 places gained by Kirill Kutskov in OK-Junior allowed Birel ART to finish this difficult World Championship at the foot of Vesuvius in style, with excellent lap times!

The 2022 FIA Karting European Championship in the OK and OK-Junior categories ended at the Franciacorta circuit, where the Birel ART-TM packages clearly showed great competitiveness. With three drivers in the top 11 on the starting grid of the OK Final and Kirill Kutskov leading at the beginning of the OK-Junior Final, the Birel ART Racing Team was hoping to celebrate an excellent result at this major international event. However, a series of race incidents destroyed all the efforts made by the technical team and the engine builders. The reds will definitely have a revenge to take in the World Championship in September.

The Birel ART Racing Team was looking forward to the start of the FIA Karting European Championships. The Winter Series was a difficult weekend  with no lack of technical problems and numerous incidents punctuated the races. Birel ART Racing confirmed its excellent level of performance in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato this weekend as the battle raged in all categories. Within an exceptionally large field, the Red Army showed great bravery despite the not always favourable circumstances. Hiltbrand was very consistent in the top five in KZ2, Pasiewicz and Keeble were close to the top 10 in OK while Kutskov was the fastest in the OK-Junior Final.

With a renewed line-up of 14 drivers, the Birel ART Racing Team showed an exciting level of performance in all three international categories. The FIA Karting event in Adria (ITA) concluded in style with a breathtaking final day in the tradition of the first two. The Italians were in the limelight in the gearbox categories. The Final of the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ was won by Paolo Ippolito, while the title went to Riccardo Longhi.
