The Euro 4 Championship 2024, the second edition of the Championship promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion, concluded with Race 3 at Monza. The new Champion is Akshay Bohra, the Indian-American driver from US Racing. After two P2 finishes this weekend, Bohra entered Race 3 as the Championship leader, with only Freddie Slater from Prema Racing and Hiyu Yamakoshi from Van Amersfoort left in the title fight. However, Yamakoshi needed nothing less than a win, with Bohra finishing out of the points, to claim the title.

Ralf and David Schumacher triumph again in race two at the Nürburgring. Markus Pommer / Valentino Catalano finish runner-up and gain ground in the title race. Danny Soufi and Torsten Kratz remain out in front in the Drivers Championship.

Race nine of this season’s Prototype Cup Germany, which took place at the Nürburgring, was dominated by Ralf (49/Salzburg) and David Schumacher (22/Salzburg, both US Racing). Six-time Grand Prix winner Ralf Schumacher took the lead at the start, before consistently extending his lead on a track that was still wet in places.

The Prototype Cup Germany is at the Nürburgring this weekend (16th to 18th August). As well as the title race, the focus will also be on two prominent guests at the penultimate race weekend of the LMP3 series: former Formula 1 driver and present-day TV expert Ralf Schumacher (49/Salzburg) will line up in a Ligier together with his son David (22/Salzburg).

Great spectacle on the track at Paul Ricard in Le Castellet for the first race of the fifth round of the Italian F.4 Championship. A perfect day for Akshay Bohra, the Indian driver from US Racing, who after securing pole position in Race 1 and 2 (second block on the grid for him in Race 3), brought victory home for the US Racing team.

On the podium, alongside Prema Racing, US Racing is represented by Zachary David in P2, and Van Amersfoort Racing has the Italian Brando Badoer on the third step.

Win number one of the season for Nikita Bedrin (ITA/PHM Racing): the 16-year-old Italian took victory in a wet ADAC Formula 4 race at the DEKRA Lausitzring, finishing ahead of Taylor Barnard (18/GBR/PHM Racing) who made it a one-two for Berlin-based PHM Racing at the team’s home event at the 3.478-kilometre racetrack. Rasmus Joutsimies (19/FIN/Jenzer Motorsport) came home third to claim his first podium and first place in the Rookie competition.

Ralf Schumacher and his team are back for another crack, drivers from Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg’s academy are joining the field, Van Amersfoort Racing lines up with no fewer than five drivers, and the son of former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya takes his place on the grid again: the stage is set for a thrilling seventh season in ADAC Formula 4. 
 

The curtain-raiser is just a few days away, and a new season of ADAC Formula 4 is about to start. This coming weekend (31st July - 2nd August), the Lausitzring will be hosting the first three races of the campaign in parallel with the 2020 ADAC GT Masters. Every weekend, SPORT1 will be showing at least one race live on free-to-air TV, and the action can also be followed on SPORT1+. The British team of SFR Motorsport took their second podium in as many races at the opening round of the BNL Karting Series last weekend. Daniel Guinchard claimed an excellent third place overall in the Junior Rotax class at the Karting Genk circuit in Belgium, where he finished runner-up at the 2019 BNL Kick-off event last month. 

After a very convincing international season among the best hopefuls in 2018, the young Moroccan driver Suleiman Zanfari has increased his ambitions for 2019. Perfectly mastering his subject in OK-Junior, he will set out to score results in a double programme dedicated to the European and World FIA Karting events as well as the German DKM Championship.
