Round 1 of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy concluded this past weekend at Karting Genk: The Home of Champions offers the first verdicts in terms of overall standings in the Junior MAX, Senior MAX, DD2, and DD2 Masters categories.

The German Kart Championship (DKM) is under starter’s orders for the 2024 season. The registration period for the top German karting series begins in mid-January. The DEKM 2022 season starts with several new features: BRP-Rotax, the official partner of the DEKM, providing the E-Karts and a team of specialists for the coordination and support on sites, has developed a new category which means that the DEKM 2022 is now coming with Junior and Senior class. The team was ready for the first round of the KZ-KZ2 FIA Karting European Championship and achieved third place in KZ2 with Laurens Van Hoepen. It was a special weekend for the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team at the Prokart Raceland circuit in Germany. TM Racing motorized CL chassis showed their potential in both classes, KZ2 and KZ.

The sessions were intense in all three classes where the drivers were discovering the MG Tires in race condition. The gaps were particularly close in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy, where poleman Bart Harrison (GBR) won with a lead of seven hundredths of a second. Senna van Walstijn (NLD) set the fastest time in the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ2 with obvious brilliance. Finally, the pole position for Emilien Denner (FRA) in the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ attests to the mastery of the driver and his team.
