The magnificent Al Forsan International Sport kart circuit and its spectacular layout brought the first season of the Champions of the Future Academy Programme to a close in the sunshine and heat of the United Arab Emirates. The 'arrive and drive' concept of the programme is set to become a benchmark in the world of karting. In the presence of eminent motorsport personalities, Spain's Luna Fluxa Cross in the Senior class, Australia's James Anagnostiadis in the Junior class and Belgium's Priam Bruno in the Mini class received their 2024 Champions trophies.

At the end of the WSK Super Master Series, Parolin Motorsport can look back on a very positive start to the 2024 season in every category. At Sarno, the Bassano del Grappa team's level of performance was confirmed by Costoya, who finished 3rd despite retiring in the Prefinal, while Girardello put in a solid performance in the Mini class. Modena Kart Racing put in a very good performance with Orlov on the podium in KZ2 and Carfagna in OK-N Junior.

The weekend in Cremona was marked by very wet weather for the second round of the WSK Super Master Series. Rain was a feature of all phases of the competition before starting to ease on Sunday morning. The Finals provided the opportunity to use slick tyres for the first time, but grip was far from perfect and there were numerous pitfalls awaiting the competitors on the 1,210-metre track.

The new Champions of the future Academy Program series by RGMMC, launched between the 20th and 22nd of November at the kart circuit of the Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an exciting change to the traditional weekend format the event took place between Monday and Wednesday just before, and only a few kilometers distance from the final round of Formula1 even, facilitated F1 Academy members and junior scouts to be present and keep an eye for new talents. In addition, it allowed the karting drivers and contributors to continue their week with a visit to the Formula1 race.

The high point of the season, the 2023 FIA OK and Junior World Karting Championship lived up to its promise in terms of difficulty and selectivity. Two weeks before the World Championship, the fifth and final round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series at Franciacorta was of particular value to the teams and their drivers. Parolin Motorsport demonstrated its competitiveness in both categories on a dry and slippery track. The intensity of the races may have caused a few problems in terms of results, but the performance was there for all the team. Rene Lammers finished in the top five in the OK Final, while Christian Costoya secured 7th place in OK-Junior.

At the start of the Final, Maksim Orlov was one of the favourites in the KZ2 World Cup, as was Daniel Bray in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup. Unfortunately, they were both eliminated at the start of the race. Genis Civico finished 9th in KZ2, while Riccardo Nalon finished 4th in KZ2 Masters. In the World KZ Championship, Francesco Celenta and Lorenzo Travisanutto made a superb comeback to finish 7th and 8th.

Already the 2022 European OKJ Champion, Parolin Motorsport has just won the 2023 FIA Karting European OK Championship at Cremona with Rene Lammers. Barely 15 years old, the Dutch driver is a pure product of Parolin Motorsport with whom he has spent his entire karting career, since 2019. Trained in the school of 60 Mini and OK-Junior, Lammers certainly showed off his talent this year in OK against the top specialists.

Parolin Racing Kart was the best-represented chassis brand in Sarno with almost 50 karts participating in the third round of the WSK Super Master Series with 255 drivers from 45 nations in its five categories. Parolin was 1st in Mini and Mini U10 and 2nd in OK-Junior. After a tough competition Parolin Motorsport had a very positive result with René Lammers finishing 2nd in OK, Zac Drummond finishing in the top five in Junior and Lorenzo Travisanutto and Francesco Celenta coming back in the KZ2 Final.

With record entries and a fast track that is still unfamiliar to most competitors, the second round of the 2023 WSK Super Master Series at Franciacorta presented some interesting challenges. The Parolin Motorsport team did not miss the opportunity to work on a track with very different charac-teristics than the one in Lonato, the setting for the first three events of the season. The Bassano del Grappa factory team achieved good results: P4 in KZ2 with Francesco Celenta, P5 in OK with René Lammers, top 10 in OK-Junior with Jack Illife, and P6 and P9 in Mini for Bruno Gryc and William Calleja.

For the launch of the WSK Euro Series at Lonato, the tough competition, especially in the rainy Final stages, made the meeting particularly challenging for the drivers. The return of Al Dhaheri meant victory in OK-Junior for Parolin Motorsport, while the performances of Celenta in KZ2, Rinicella in OK and Costoya in Mini showed the competitiveness of the team in all categories. The new Sarno track is still very fast, but it was a big change from the old Neapolitan track and again provided the setting for some tough battles. The second round of the WSK Super Master Series took place in the south of Italy at La Conca, a circuit renowned for its high grip. The last international competition of the season, the WSK Open Cup took place as a double meeting from 24th to 29th November on the Adria Karting Raceway. Very solid at the front of the Mini category, Maciej Gladysz won the series classification with a good lead over his opponents. Kai Sorensen did a great job in OK-Junior, and Rashid Al Dhaheri showed good performances.
