The wheel-to-wheel action continued today at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy. With one heat race for most classes yesterday, all classes saw race action today, and the results set the grid for tomorrow’s prefinals. With some drivers experiencing success and others heartbreak, we are less than two days away from crowning the 2024 RMC Grand Final Champions.

It was time to go racing at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy, as the 2024 RMC Grand Final heat races began today. After some rain on Tuesday, Micro MAX, Mini MAX, and MAX DD2 Masters qualified in wet conditions, but the remainder of the classes qualified today under sunny and clear skies.

The day started under cool and calm conditions at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy, but the track action heated up throughout the day, concluding with three Qualifying Practice sessions. Setting the grids in Micro MAX, Mini MAX, and MAX DD2 Masters, the remaining classes will qualify tomorrow, with wheel-to-wheel action to follow. Of note, Non-Qualifying Practice 6 for Junior MAX Even, Senior MAX Odd and Even, MAX DD2 Odd and Even were cancelled today due to heavy rain, as those classes still have Non-Qualifying Practice 7 tomorrow morning.

With more than 180 chassis supplied by drawing lots to the drivers of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in the Max DD2, DD2 Master, Mini Max and E10 categories, the Birel ART factory provided a top-of-the-range service at the 23rd edition of this major global event. BRP-Rotax is proud to announce that the 23rd edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) Grand Finals successfully took place, for the second time, in the Bahrain International Karting Circuit from December 02 to 09, 2023. Creating a thrilling spectacle in the heart of the desert in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the race event, which brought together the crème de la crème of Rotax racers from around the world, was a showcase of perfect skills and a big celebration of fellowship in the mesmerizing Kingdom of Bahrain.

What a sight to see at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit, as warm sunshine and blue skies from up above provided welcoming and fantastic weather for what would be a great day of celebration and action-packed racing under the floodlights for the Pre-Finals.

Intense heat and high sunshine overhead would greet the paddock this morning, in what would be a very intense and demanding schedule for everyone, as today saw the conclusion to the Qualifying Heat stages of the 2023 RMC Grand Finals.

The Bahrain International Karting Circuit welcomed back the busy paddock with open arms, in what would be a very busy day for all the drivers to really kick start the action out on track another level, with not only high sun and hot temperatures to content with, but also the efforts towards the official Qualifying Practice sessions and the first set of Qualifying Heats.
