The second qualifying session of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine brought the challenge to the track Sunday morning at the Red Bull Ring. The drivers entered the track in two groups, in reverse order compared to Saturday’s qualifying. The pole position for Race 2 was claimed by French driver Alessandro Giusti from G4 Racing. This marks Giusti’s second pole in the series, following his first victory at Paul Ricard before the summer break. Yesterday was already a favorable day for the driver, as he topped his group and finished Race 1 on the podium. With an excellent performance in qualifying, the Frenchman has created a perfect opportunity to add to his victories in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

Brazilian pole-sitter Rafael Camara took home the first victory of the season for Prema Racing. Camara dominated Race 1, maintaining control from the pole position with a perfect get away when the lights went out. He managed the race and built a gap, encountering no issues even during the restart from the Safety Car period caused by a race incident between Josh Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) at Les Combes. After the brief neutralization, the race resumed for the final lap assault, and Camara sealed the deal, securing his first win in the series co-managed by Alpine and ACI Sport.

Martinius Stenshorne took victory in race 1 and doubled his tally of wins in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. After an intense battle for the remaining podium positions, Kas Haverkort and Santiago Ramos celebrated on the second and third steps.

In a highly anticipated race, Tim Tramnitz emerged victorious in Race 1 of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Tramnitz, representing R-ace GP, showcased his exceptional driving skills and claimed the top spot on the podium.

Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine last race of round 1 at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola goes to Kas Haverkort, Dutchman of Van Amersfoort Racing. This is Haverkort third win in the series cosigned by Alpine and ACI Sport, the first of the year came as soon as round 1, and, added to yesterday’s P5, constitutes a good haul for the driver’s standings.  

Paul Aron celebrated his second consecutive victory, coming out of the Dutch circuit with two pole positions and two gold medals.

Third win of the season for Dino Beganovic (Prema Racing), who had a perfect weekend in Monte Carlo, winning also in Race 2 and consolidating his leadership in the standings of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

Prema Racing‘s Dino Beganovic claimed the fastest time of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine collective tests, with a lap time of 1m47.016s in the second day at Monza.

At the end of the spectacular Finals, the Frenchman Jeremy Iglesias was crowned FIA Karting World Champion - KZ. The Italian Simone Cunati won the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 and the Israel's Ariel Elkin won the FIA Karting Academy Trophy Final, while the American Connor Zilisch won the Trophy.

The evolution of the weather situation has again played an important role in the 18 Qualifying Heats held on Saturday, 3rd October at Lonato. While the Coronavirus is still active in several regions of the world, Belgium has adopted additional health control measures to prevent further infection. On Friday 17th May, the second competition of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK & Junior started on the Genk circuit (BEL) in weather conditions that were particularly difficult to manage. All this because of light intermittent rain that varied grip from moment to moment during Qualifying Practice. The technical choices were influential on the results of this first phase, the consequences of which could have repercussions until the Final. Luigi Coluccio (ITA) finally took Pole Position in OK and Conrad Laursen (DNK) in OK-Junior.
