Kart Republic has just taken the number of FIA European Karting Championship titles won in the OK category to six out of seven attempts since the Italian brand launched in 2018. At the final round in Kristianstad, Sweden, the KR-IAME packages were impressively successful: Joe Turney celebrated his first crown at this level with another win secured by a healthy margin; Fionn McLaughlin finished 3rd in the Final; Thibaut Ramaekers claimed Championship bronze in his first season in OK. In OK-Junior, Noah Baglin took 3rd place on the podium and was the top rookie in the overall standings, in which Iacopo Martinese came 3rd, as he did in 2023.

The KR chassis and IAME engines dominated the third round of the FIA Karting European Championship in OK in the sunny conditions of the Slovak Karting Center. Thibaut Ramaekers triumphed in the colours of the VDK Racing team ahead of two KR Motorsport drivers, Noah Monteiro and Dmitry Matveev.

The weather has changed considerably since Friday at Orechová Potôň where the heat has given way to changeable conditions that have evolved during the day from rain to sunshine in temperatures of between 20 and 26° at the Slovakia Karting Center. Matheus Morgatto (BRA) took the lead in OK, Niklas Schaufler (AUT) and Dries Van Langendonck (BEL) finished level on points in OK-Junior and Gilles Herman (BEL) was the best performer in the Academy Trophy.

The KR-IAME teams continue their winning run in the Champions of the Future Euro Series with a third victory in three races in OK and a return to the lead in OK-Junior. By finishing 3rd behind Noah Baglin after some incredible comebacks, Niklas Schaufler regained the overall lead in the Juniors. In OK, KR chassis made it a hat-trick with Joe Turney, Thibaut Ramaekers, the new series leader, and David Cosma Cristofor. On the difficult Slovakia Ring, the Italian brand has certainly found the right way to optimise performance, from free practice to the finals.

With the return of the sun and milder weather conditions compared to Qualifying Practice, the 199 drivers entered in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - OK and OK-Junior produced a magnificent show throughout the 43 Qualifying Heats. In each category, 72 drivers won their ticket for the Super Heats on Sunday morning, which will precede the long awaited Finals! 199 drivers of 48 nationalities had to face wet and changing weather conditions on Friday 16th September at the Sarno circuit (ITA). At the foot of Mount Vesuvius, it rained at the beginning of the day, but the track dried out during Qualifying, to the point where the drivers of the last session started on slick tyres. In this context, there was no shortage of surprises, such as the pole positions achieved by German Maxime Rehm in OK and Swiss driver Kian Fardin in OK-Junior.
