The first heats of Round 3 of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy at Franciacorta are just finished.

Qualifying Practices Officially Open Round 3 of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy at Franciacorta

Between two European Championship events, the WSK Euro Series made its debut on the Franciacorta circuit last weekend. Parolin Motorsport did not miss this opportunity to train its young drivers and to continue its development work.

June was a particularly busy month for KR Motorsport and its partner teams, with three major international competitions in less than 30 days. Whether in the Champions of the Future Euro Series, the FIA Karting European Championship or WSK Promotion, victory was on the cards in several categories, with various tyre manufacturers. At Franciacorta, on the opening event of the WSK Euro Series, the Italian brand took victory with Swede Scott Lindblom (Fusion Motorsport) in OK and with Team Driver Racing Kart: Daniel Miron Lorente in Mini Group 3 and Antonio Pizzonia in OK-N Junior.

Qualifying heats defined the main contenders for the final stages on Sunday, June 30th. The TV Live Streaming of the Prefinals will start at 9:30, and that of the Finals at 13:20. 

The first qualifying heats named the first candidate to the victory after qualifying practice. The final heats will take place on Saturday, June 29th, while the final stages will be on Sunday, June 30th with prefinals and finals.
 

The opener of the WSK Euro Series kicked off with the pole positions going to Molota (OKNJ), Rafalik (OKN), Kamyab (OKJ), Lindblom (OK), Robertson (MINI U10), and Miron (MINI Gr.3). Qualifying heats will follow. Live Streaming coverage of the event stars on Sunday, June 30th at 9:30. 

There are many reasons for the Kalì Kart Racing Team to be disappointed and many to be happy after the 3rd round of the Italian Karting Championship. In the OK-N Junior category, after the pole position in the Qualifying Practice on Friday and 2 Heat wins on Saturday, Cristian Blandino finished Race 1 in P6 and Race 2 just a whisker away from the podium, in P4.

Over 250 drivers are expected at the Franciacorta Karting Track for the opening round of the WSK Euro Series that will take place from June 26th to 30th with categories MINI, OKNJ, OKN, OKJ and OK on the track. The second round will be on September 29th in Sarno. 

Due to some scheduling issues, the second round in Sarno is moved back to the date of September 29th with the MINI, OKNJ, OKN, OKJ and OK categories on track.

The round of Sarno has been anticipated from September 29th  to July 14th with categories MINI, OKNJ, OKN, OKJ, OK and KZ2 on track. The opening round in Franciacorta has been confirmed for June 30th. Entries accepted from May 31st.  

Important news regarding the E20 categories, whose prize list has been revised. 4 will be 2024 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals tickets available for the E20 categories.

Due to ongoing renovation works at the Viterbo Circuit not yet completed, the WSK Super Cup/National Trophy and the single round of the Italian KZN Championship will take place at Franciacorta on the same dates of September 6-8.

At the first appointment of the WSK Promotion series, their Tony Kart Rookie powered by Vortex engine achieved second place in the MINI Gr.3 with the Racing Team driver Oliver Sini.

The victory went to Van Walstijn (KZ2), Forè (KZ2 Masters), Berezkin (OK-NJ), Marchesi (OK-N), Truchot (MINI Gr.3) and Perico (MINI Gr.3 U10).

The opener of the WSK Open Series will take place at the Franciacorta Karting Track with categories MINI, OKNJ, OKN, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters. Following the important participation success and racing spectacle achieved in the recent championship with its four thrilling rounds of the WSK Super Master Series, WSK Promotion continues its brilliant streak in 2024 with the opening of the WSK Open Series at the Franciacorta Karting Track, where 250 drivers are expected to compete.

After the heats, the lead is held by Van Walstijn (KZ2), Forè (KZ2 Masters), Perico (MINI U10), Pilipenco (MINI Gr.3), Manni (OKNJ) and Marchesi (OKN). The final stages with Live Streaming coverage will be on Sunday, April 7th.

The WSK Euro Series’ round of Sarno will be postponed from May 26th to September 29th. 

The opener of the WSK Open Series in Franciacorta on April 7th. The second round will be in La Conca on Saturday, May 11th. The events are open to categories: MINI, OKNJ, OKN, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters.
