In the second 50 minutes practice session of the Friday, Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) confirms to be the fastest also with new tires, obtaining a very good lap time (1:57.937), being the only driver to go below 1:58.000. Behind him, his teammate, Gabriele Minì, stopping the watch at 1:58.275, so not as close as he might have wanted, but still in a potential first row.

In the early morning qualifying sessions in Monaco, it is Zane Maloney (R-ace GP) to obtain the best overall time with 1:28.893), an amazing lap time also helped by a track that has been evidently constantly improving, helping Group B drivers whose session was after Group A. Great job also by his teammate and Rookie, Isack Hadjar, with 1:29.727, the fastest of the first Group. The French driver will start in pole position tomorrow in Race 1, while the Brazilian will be on pole in Race 2 on Sunday.

It has been an up-and-down weekend for PREMA Powerteam in the second round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at Barcelona. Sharing Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with Formula One this weekend, the team couldn't maximise qualifying, and that led to a troubled run in the races, with Paul Aron salvaging a podium finish in race 1 and P4 in race 2. The Estonian really made the most out of his package, fighting with an extremely solid approach.
