Carlos Sainz has been diagnosed with appendicitis and will require surgery. As from FP3 and for the rest of this weekend, he will be replaced by reserve Ferrari driver Oliver Bearman. Oliver will therefore take no further part in this round of the F2 Championship.

The Scuderia Ferrari driver had three intense days of testing with their official team as part of his training for the new Formula 1 season. Three days of karting for Carlos Sainz at the Franciacorta Karting Track in Castrezzato (BS). The Spanish driver, F1 driver in the Scuderia Ferrari, got off the track with the Tony Kart Racing Team, as part of his training ahead of the 2023 season.

Bogdan Cosma-Cristofor has started his third international karting season in the 60 Mini class with great talent and determination, even though he has not yet turned 11 years old. At the second round of the WSK Super Master Series, the young Romanian has just posted one of his best results of his career on the prestigious circuit of Lonato, by taking a remarkable 7th place out of a total of 108 drivers!
