After the appointment of the official drivers for the 2022 season, Sodikart continues to structure its team for the next season and appoints Mansel Smith as team manager. Frenchman Anthony Abbasse has taken out his second consecutive Gold Coast 600 Race of Stars at the Xtreme Karting Complex for the SodiKart factory team after a remarkable series of events that saw the race decided after the chequered flag.

Emerging New Zealand karting star, Matthew Payne has upstaged some of the world’s finest exponents of kart racing on the opening days of the 2019 Gold Coast 600 Race of Stars on Queensland’s Gold Coast - the first official off track event of the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 Supercars event next weekend.

The Race of Stars karting event has been locked in to be held on Queensland’s Gold Coast for a seventh consecutive year. The prestigious event will once again be contested at the Xtreme Karting Facility on Queensland’s glitter strip.

Supercars Champion James Courtney hosted International Karting Stars Davide Forè from Italy and Frenchman Anthony Abbasse at Gold Coast’s Movie World this morning. The Italian and Frenchman are in Australia for this weekend’s Race of Stars International karting event that is being held at the Xtreme Karting Complex in Pimpama, starting tomorrow. Ahead of the racing, they were guests of the Hollywood Stunt Driver Show at Movie World where they got to experience first hand one of the Gold Coast’s most popular tourist attractions.

Reigning Race of Stars Champion Anthony Abbasse has arrived in Australia ahead of next weekend’s event on the Gold Coast. The Frenchman, who made his Australian debut at the corresponding event last year, arrived in Brisbane earlier this week before spending the past couple of days with Sodi Kart Australia Team Principal John Grother at his Gladstone base.

The exciting story of Sodikart and endurance racing has been enriched by a new and particularly brilliant chapter at the 34th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours Karting, held on the last weekend of September. With many Sodi chassis competing, Sodi has achieved excellent results at the most famous endurance race in the world. The factory Sodikart GP1 team won the overall classification with its second consecutive FIA Karting Endurance Championship, while the GP2 class concluded with three Sodi chassis on the podium.

The 4th edition of the FIA Karting Endurance Championship finished with an indisputable victory for the No.1 - Sodikart team, winner of the 2019 24 Hours Karting at Le Mans. Five-times World Champion Davide Forè will make a return to Australia’s Gold Coast to compete in the 2019 Race of Stars later this month (October 17-19).
