Suleiman Zanfari: another victory in Saudi Arabian F4

Moroccan driver Suleiman Zanfari has just completed the 2024 Saudi Arabian F4 season with a fourth victory last weekend at the famous Jeddah Corniche Circuit. This puts him just off the podium in the first edition of this championship.

Suleiman got off to a good start with wins in each of the first three races in Bahrain and Kuwait but then suffered a number of mechanical incidents in Qatar and during the first two weekends of racing in Saudi Arabia. Nevertheless, thanks to his determination, he managed to beat the bad luck to win again at the last meeting, taking his fourth victory in Jeddah on the F1 circuit.

In the second race, the young Moroccan achieved an undisputed victory after leading from start to finish. An excellent start enabled him to immediately distance himself from his rivals and keep out of their reach. After 10 laps covered at a very fast pace, Suleiman was able to savour his victory, more than 2.5" ahead of the runner-up and 4.5" ahead of the 3rd-placed driver. He confirmed his great form by also scoring points in the other two races of the meeting.

The 18-year-old Moroccan Suleiman Zanfari was thus able to take 4th place in the overall standings of the FIA-certified Saudi Arabian F4 Championship, as the first Arab driver to do so after winning on three of the four circuits on the calendar.

Suleiman's thanks go to his staff, in particular his physical coach, Brazilian Gabriel Vieira, and his driving coach, Frenchman Hadrien David, who both contributed to his success. The support of his Saudi partners and sponsors Kaiian, number 1 in VTC in Saudi Arabia, and Aramco, official sponsor of the Championship, was also much appreciated by Suleiman. We would like to thank them, as well as his fans, friends and family.

Suleiman will now return to the Campos Racing team for his next Formula 3 Regional Eurocup 3 race on the Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium from 19th to 20th April 2024.
