PREMA Powerteam is ready to welcome Sebastian Montoya for the 2020 Formula 4 season. The 14-year-old Colombian will make his debut in single-seater competition and will enter a program consisting of the full Italian F4 championship and selected races of the German ADAC-promoted Championship.
 
Montoya, who is the son of Formula 1 racer and double Indy 500 champion Juan Pablo Montoya, is coming from a strong karting career started at the age of 8 in the USA. In recent years, he showed great potential in European competition too, moving up to the OK class ranks in 2019. Sebastian is now set for his maiden season in auto racing and already started his preparations. In his first test outings, he quickly adapted to the car, impressing the team and doing a remarkable job on track.  With the addition of Montoya, PREMA Powerteam reaffirms its commitment towards young drivers, with four highly competitive rookies at the start of the 2020 Formula 4 season and is confident about the line-up and its potential.
