The 20th edition of the Rotax Max Grand Finals Challenge takes place in Italy, at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli, Sarno from 19th to 26th October 2019, with 360 drivers from more than 50 countries. Since 2010, Sodi has been a faithful partner of the Rotax World Final as a chassis supplier. This year, Sodikart is once again supplying the Max and DD2 Masters chassis - a total of 152 karts - and is entering its 10th consecutive year as official supplier to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals.
The collaboration between Sodikart, the world's leading manufacturer of karts, and BRP Rotax, the world's leading manufacturer of kart engines, has a long history. Sodikart launched the Rotax France Challenge in 1999. In 2012, 3MK Events (the Sodikart Event Department) launched the National Series Karting and in 2019 the RMC International Trophy; a large number of events that focus on the Austrian engines.
Bertrand Pignolet, CEO of Sodikart, shares his enthusiasm for this new challenge: "The "Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals" remains one of the world's biggest karting events and we are proud to be able to participate as a chassis partner for the 10th consecutive year. I wish RMCGF an excellent birthday for this 20th edition! Rotax has brought together a maximum of drivers from around the world for the past 20 years; we can only congratulate them on this success story, which of course we participate in as the Rotax importer for the French market."
For this 2019 edition, all the employees of the Sodikart factory have - once again - utilised a lot of energy to be ready on the "D" Day. The preparation of 76 Max and 76 DD2 Masters karts requires rigorous organisation. In total, more than three tons of technical steel were used, including 500m of tubes and 250m of weld seam!
Everything is now in place for as many drivers as possible to discover and appreciate the quality of Sodi chassis at a high level competition. The Sodikart staff and Sodi Racing Team technicians will be present to welcome the drivers and share their great experience of racing along with the official driver Bas Lammers. It would be hard to have better advisors!
