Sodi and the Rotax Grand Finals: 15th year of successful collaboration

2024 marked the 25th anniversary of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals on the prestigious Italian circuit of Sarno. It was also the 15th anniversary of the collaboration between BRP-Rotax and Sodikart for the supply of chassis.

Over the years, Sodikart has become an essential partner of the Rotax Grand Final. Thanks to the quality of its chassis and the professionalism of the world's leading kart manufacturer, the French company played a major role in the success of this 24th edition. This year, Sodi supplied the chassis for the E20 Senior and E20 Masters electric categories, in addition to those for the event's flagship category, the Senior Max.

Thanks to the Sigma RS3 chassis equipped with Rotax MAX 125 Evo engines supplied to the 72 Senior Max drivers, the category was the most hotly contested of the meeting. The highly talented competitors took advantage of the ideal equipment to wage epic battles from the Qualifying Heats right through to the Final. The final race was breathtaking, with intense close-quarters battles throughout 18 breathtaking laps. It was Belgium's Vic Stevens who came out on top after overcoming the incredible domination of the British drivers, who took the top five places on the starting grid. At the finish, six nations were represented in the top six, with drivers making remarkable comebacks. Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States of America, Australia and France were among the winners of this global challenge, which was full of twists and turns.

Sodikart can be proud of its major contribution to the success of this 24th edition. The French chassis once again rose to the occasion, as did the particularly meticulous service provided by the on-site team.

Bertrand Pignolet, Chairman of Sodikart, commented:

"It is always very satisfying to confirm the strength of our partnership with BRP-Rotax. The Grande Finale continues to grow in stature around the world and the spectacle it provides remains unrivalled. 60 nations and almost 400 drivers in a single meeting is a feat that is achieved every year and celebrates the success of the Rotax Max engine. The success of this 25th anniversary testifies to the vitality of Rotax competitions throughout the world.

“We are delighted that Sodikart is associated with this major event as an unconditional supporter of BRP-Rotax. This allows us to showcase the quality of our products to a wide range of international competitors. We are proud to have received so many positive comments about our chassis and the quality of our customer service. As part of Sodikart's DNA, the sporting and technical support provided on site by our team contributed to the overall satisfaction of the drivers.

“Preparing for such an event mobilises a large proportion of our resources throughout the year. All the people who work at our plant share responsibility for this success, which is repeated year after year, and I'd like to thank them all for their contribution.

“After this year's event, which took place on the renowned international circuit of Sarno, we are delighted to be able to begin preparations for the 25th edition, which will return to the prestigious Bahrain circuit.”
