RMC International Trophy Asia: New name, new organizer and venue update

Gunskirchen, Austria – The RMC Asia Festival, a marquee event for racing enthusiasts since its inception in 2022, is gearing up for its next edition with some exciting updates. This prestigious karting event, which has drawn competitors from across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, will see an evolution in both its organizing team and event name as it moves to Thailand’s historic Bira Circuit where it takes place from January 17-19, 2025.
 

New Name: The RMC Asia Festival has been renamed to RMC International Trophy Asia, reflecting its growth, it’s expanding international presence and status as a premier karting competition that draws top talent not only from the Asia-Pacific but also from Europe, the Americas and beyond. This updated title represents will now be known as the RMC International Trophy Asia. This updated title represents our commitment to positioning the event on the world stage of the Rotax Karting community.


New Organizer: By immediate change, the organization of the event will transition from Amprex to Moment Media, the authorized Rotax Distributor in Thailand, ushering a fresh chapter for the RMC International Trophy Asia. Under this new stewardship, the event promises to continue its growth and deliver a thrilling experience for drivers and fans alike.


New Location: The event will now be held at Thailand’s Bira Circuit, an iconic track near Pattaya that has been a hub for Thai motorsport since 1985. Named after Prince Bira, Thailand’s first Formula One driver, the circuit holds deep historical and cultural significance, symbolizing the country’s passion for racing. This change in location not only brings the event closer to the heart of Southeast Asian motorsport but also elevates its prestige by connecting it to a track known for its challenging layout and rich heritage.
