The final race of the IAME Series Benelux 2022, which continues this weekend in Mariembourg, is once again well attended with a field of more than 230 drivers. And with the decision on the title in several categories yet to be made, it promises to be an exciting three days.
After four exciting and successful race weekends, this weekend it is time for the final round of the IAME Series Benelux 2022, which takes place in Mariembourg. With more than 230 pilots entered, this competition will be more than ever worth following, especially knowing that five titles are still at stake! In the Mini, Mini Rookie, X30 Junior, X30 Master and X30 Senior Cup categories, a number of drivers have already pulled out their calculators before making the move to Karting des Fagnes. This was necessary, because eight results out of a maximum of ten will be taken into account for the final ranking. The two least good results will be eliminated.
As usual, the first set of points will be distributed after the qualifications and the second after the Finals. The X30 Senior and X30 Junior categories will take their turn on Friday with the first practice sessions at 2 p.m., followed by the first qualifying heats. On Saturday, qualifying will continue from 9:40 am, while the Finals will start from 4:20 pm. On Sunday, we will see the Mini Rookie, Mini, X30 Senior Cup, X30 Master and the X30 Super Shifter classes at work for a full program that includes the practice sessions (11:30-12:30), the qualifications (13:15-16:05) and the Finals (from 16:20). The championship awards ceremony will be held during the podium ceremonies.
