The list of drivers who will be joining Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is getting longer and longer. Just today it has been confirmed that Noel Leon will race with Arden Motorsport after becoming F4 USA champion in the last two races held on the Circuit of the Americas. An important title for the young Mexican, who has worn the crown of NACAM Formula 4 in 2020. Reigning United States F4 champion will compete in the European series after being signed by the Red Bull Junior Team.

Noel Leon: “I’ve embarked on an incredible roller-coaster ride and I am really excited about all that’s coming my way in 2022. Red Bull showed great confidence by taking me on-board the junior program, which is something I take great pride in and I’m very grateful for the opportunity. It’s fantastic that I will be racing on the most famous European Formula 1 tracks, with Monaco being the obvious standout round. The fact that I will be racing with multiple title-winning outfit Arden Motorsport is all I could wish for. The team has proved to be very capable and there’s a great atmosphere within the team.”

Noel has no experience racing in Europe so it will be a very challenging year for him learning the tracks and the car, but we’ve seen huge potential after a two-day test in late December. We’ll make sure to hand him all he needs to reach his full potential and are very excited to start this journey together with him.”
