New DSKM-result for Wackersdorf
After the second racing weekend of the German Kart Championship in Wackersdorf, the result of the second final race of the German Shifterkart Championship was changed. Winner Fabian Federer was disqualified due to a Parc-Fermé violation.
Reigning champion Fabian Federer finished the second racing weekend of the German Shifterkart Championship (DSKM) in Wackersdorf on first place. But after the race, the result had to be altered.
A video showed a violation of the Parc-Fermé regulations by the winner. These are defined by DMSB-kart-regulations in item 15.3 as follows: “The organizer has to identify a closed-off area as Parc-Fermé. It is forbidden to work on the kart in the Parc-Fermé area. The racing director or the sports marshals determine which karts have to be brought into the Parc-Fermé area. Only people who have been authorized by the racing director or sports marshals are allowed to be in the Parc-Fermé area.”
The sports marshals detected a violation of these rules when viewing the video and disqualified Fabian Federer for the second final race in Wackersdorf. His team SRP Racing Team gave notice of an appeal though, which is going to lead to another hearing in front of the DMSB sports-court in Frankfurt on the Main.
New winner in Wackersdorf is Stan Pex (SP Motorsport) in front of Riccardo Longhi (BirelART Racing KSW) and Jorrit Pex (SP Motorsport).
