Monolite Racing is set for an interesting new lineup addition for the Zandvoort round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
The Italian squad, led by Rudi Mariotto, will field a car for Nikita Bedrin. The 17-year-old racer, who competes under an Italian license, will make his FRECA debut on the challenging Dutch track, where he gained crucial experience in Formula 4.
Despite his young age, Bedrin is an expert competitor. In 2022, he finished fourth in both Formula 4 UAE and ADAC F4, collecting a total of 5 wins. In 2023, he finished eighth in the Formula Regional Middle East series, with two pole positions and as many victories. He also went on to secure two podiums in the competitive FIA Formula 3. Championship.
Bedrin will complete Monolite's lineup alongside Enzo Scionti and Giovanni Maschio.
