Mini 60 Series also starts in Wackersdorf and Franciacorta

Dutch promoter expands program to five races

Frankfurt am Main/Eindhoven: After the successful start of the Mini 60 Series in Muelsen, promoter Chrono Karting is expanding its program in the German Kart Championship. The young talents will now also be represented by the half-time race at Wackersdorf and the finale at Franciacorta (Italy). Registration is now open at www.chrono.nl.

Chrono Karting is bringing the Mini 60 into the supporting program of Germany's top kart racing series this season. At the premiere in Muelsen 18 young racers were on the grid and also for Genk (Belgium) a great field has already formed. After the Mini 60 was scheduled from the start at the races in Muelsen, Genk (Belgium), and Kerpen, the drivers can look forward to two more events.

Chrono Karting is now also announcing the Mini 60 Series at the mid-season event from August 25-27 in Wackersdorf and the finale at the end of October (Oct. 27-29) in Franciacorta (Italy). "For our sport it’s important to develop young karting talents, we are pleased that Chrono Karting has taken on this task and has chosen the environment of the DKM for this," praises DKM series coordinator Stefan Wagner the commitment.

The races will be held in accordance with the international CIK karting regulations, which means that the series also offers a perfect basis for international drivers. Youngsters from the age of 10 are eligible to start, and the age-group rule applies (2010-2013). A national karting license with permission to start abroad is required. The starting field will be limited to 36 participants per event.

The race program of the Mini 60 is corresponding to the DKM classes. The practice sessions will take place on Friday, followed by another practice session, qualifying, and the heats on Saturday. Sunday consists of a warm-up, pre-final and final race. The top five of the final will be honored with trophies. The Mini 60 will also start with Vega tyres, the emission-free e-fuel from P1 Fuels, and carburetors from Dell´Orto.

Full details and online entry can be found on promoter Chrono Karting's website www.chrono.nl in the Mini 60 Series section. Each event is a single event, the entry fee per event is 400€ incl. VAT. Online entry can also be done as block entry for the remaining four races this season.
