Marcus Amand completes ART Grand Prix team's 2023 lineup

ART Grand Prix is pleased to announce a new partnership with Marcus Amand to add to its trio of drivers entered in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

After collecting numerous regional and national karting trophies, Marcus dominated the prestigious Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals when he was just 11 years old. Two years later, in 2019, the French-Finnish driver won the European Karting Championship in the OK Junior category.

Integrated into the FFSA Academy, Marcus started in single-seaters in 2021 by racing in two Formula 4 championships at the same time, in Italy and Germany, where he secured two podium finishes last season.

Marcus Amand:
“I discovered ART Grand Prix from the inside, at the end of 2022, and I loved the atmosphere and the seriousness of the team and I have acclimatized well. The car is difficult to understand at the start and very different from the one I drove in F4. But the team is very attentive and with their help I progressed throughout the run to finish with a strong performance. We have laid a good foundation and I am looking forward to this new challenge with ART Grand Prix. I am ready for a new start!”.

Sébastien Philippe:
“Marcus has had a spectacular career in karting and his transition to single-seaters has been courageous with two foreign championships to manage at a very young age. At the end of last year, he integrated perfectly into the team during the FRECA trials and his thirst for learning, as well as his ability to put the team’s advice into practice and his speed convinced us that “He had all the qualities to succeed in such a competitive context”.
