With the first season of the FIA certified Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, co-organized by ACI Sport and Alpine, heading to its last round in Monza, after its latest meeting in Mugello having reached the record-high number of 36 cars on the grid, the new calendar of the 2022 season is officially confirmed.

The start of the season of the Series that represents the perfect and official FIA step from F4 up towards F1, will take place on the 22-24 of April on the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, and then will move on the 6-8 May to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, with the first two rounds of the series being on the Italian circuits that have recently been officially confirmed by FIA and Automobile Club of Italy to host F1 in 2022.

The third round of the season will take place on the Circuit de Monaco, together with F1, the 27-29 of May, followed by the French meeting at Le Castellet, on Circuit Paul Ricard (3-5 June). The fifth round will be held on Circuit Zandvoort the 17-19 of June.

After mid-season, the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine will move to the circuit of the Hungaroring for the sixth round, on July 8-10. For the seventh round, the Formula Alpine will move to the Circuit Spa-Francorchamps on the 27-30 of the same month in occasion of the mythical event of the 24 Hours of Spa. After the Summer break, the eighth round will be held on the Red Bull Ring circuit in Spielberg, Austria, the 8-10 of September, then moving to Spain at the Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya on the 14-16 October for the ninth round, ending the season back in Italy as it started, at the Mugello Circuit the 20-23 of October.

Six of the ten rounds, Monza, Zandvoort, Hungaroring, Spa-Francorshamps, Red Bull Ring and Mugello, will be preceded by Pre-event Collective Tests.
