DR Formula looks at the young drivers making again its bet on the Italian F4 Championship, a series it entered since the first edition to step up to the international scenario in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

The team headed by multiple world champion Danilo Rossi, Marco Ubaldi and Nuno Couceiro, unveils a full season campaign in the feeder series that started in 2014. DR Formula will have a renewed staff, after having moved its headquarter to Bologne - closer to Sant'Agata Bolognese - being a supported by Lamborghini Squadra Corse squad. The partnership with Giovanni Minardi is another big news.

DR Formula this year will field two or three cars, starting a testing program early next March.

"Differently from the past, DR Formula this year will have an its own technical staff", Danilo Rossi commented. "We have decided to focus on Formula 4 to continue our karting program, aiming to do well".

The Italian F4 Championship in 2022 will be marked by the debut of the brand-new Tatuus F.4 T-021 car and will consist in seven different rounds. Imola will kick-off the season on May 8 ahead of Misano (5 June), Spa-Francorchamps (19 June), Vallelunga (3 July), Red Bull Ring (11 September), Monza (9 October) and Mugello (23 October).
