Scottish racer Chloe Grant will return to the GB4 Championship in 2024 with reigning champions KMR Sport.
The 18-year-old, from Perth, contested the inaugural GB4 campaign in 2022. She registered 12 top-ten finishes in her first single-seater season, having moved up from the Junior Saloon Car Championship in 2021, in which she was the series’ scholarship winner.
Grant moved into F1 Academy for its inaugural season last year, racing at F1 venues in Austria, Spain, the Netherlands, France and the USA, with a best result of fourth at Valencia. Her most recent race took place at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas, in support of the United States Grand Prix.
Her move back to GB4 will see Chloe return to circuits where she has plenty of experience, and she re-enters the series with the support of Laser Tools Racing and John Clark Motor Group for a third year, while also extending her partnership with Specsavers into a second term.
Chloe returned to GB4 action for the first time since 2022 in testing at Oulton Park this morning (Thursday), ahead of the season opener at the Cheshire venue this weekend (30 March/1 April).
Chloe Grant said: “I’m excited to contest the competitive grid that GB4 boasts, especially now I feel I have developed as a driver since my last time in the series. “Having raced alongside KMR Sport in 2022, and watched them win the championship title last year, I know I’m in good hands.”
Team Principal Kevin Mills said: “I’m very pleased that Chloe is joining us at KMR Sport. We are excited to get underway and will work hard to get her to the front of the grid.”
