Callum Baxter confirms GB4 return with Graham Brunton Racing

Canadian Callum Baxter will remain with the Graham Brunton Racing squad as he returns to the GB4 Championship for a sophomore campaign in 2025.

Baxter enjoyed a successful 2024 effort with the Scottish team, claiming a breakthrough podium at Donington Park with a runner-up spot at the end of May, and doing the same at Snetterton, gaining six places on the way to another second place.

In his first season of racing in the UK, the 18-year-old secured 18 points finishes, establishing himself as one of the most consistent drivers across the grid. His 2024 came to a conclusion with a strong run to the final in the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch with the team, as part of the Team Canada line-up.

Prior to his GB4 exploits, Baxter had demonstrated his potential by winning the F1600 Canada title in 2023. In addition, he claimed the runner-up spot in the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship, with wins at the Canadian Grand Prix-supporting round at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Baxter has also tasted success in sports cars, and enjoyed a superb karting career, taking 10 titles between 2017 and 2021. Now he’s gearing up for a return to action in the UK, and will sample the new Tatuus MSV GB4-025 car in pre-season testing across the next few weeks.

Callum Baxter said: “Racing in the GB4 Championship with Graham Brunton Racing last year was a great experience. I am proud of what we accomplished and I learned a lot, gaining experience and confidence throughout the season. I’m excited to return to GB4 with the team for the 2025 season!”

Team Manager Craig Brunton said: “After a great year working together in 2024, we’re very pleased to welcome Callum back to the team for the GB4 Championship this year. Having learned a lot last year, including racing at the circuits for the first time, Callum is well placed to challenge at the front this time around, and we’re really looking forward to getting our pre-season testing campaign underway in the new car. He’s proved he can get podiums in GB4, and now our collective challenge is to make them a regular occurrence in 2025.”
