BWT Alpine F1 Team confirms 21-year-old Nina Gademan as driver in F1 Academy 2025

BWT Alpine F1 Team has confirmed Dutch driver Nina Gademan as a driver for next season in the F1 Academy. The 21-year-old talent will face her first full season in this all-female racing class in 2025. In 2024, she impressed in the fourth race of the season at the Zandvoort circuit. She was given the opportunity to compete with a Wild Card and crossed the line in fourth place in the first race and tenth in the second. This was good for a total of thirteen points in the championship.
 

Previous successes and progress

Gademan has built an impressive resume. She won the 2019 FIA Motorsport Games Karting Slalom Cup for the Dutch team. In 2024, she made her debut in the single-seater class in the British Formula 4 Championship. In the fourth race of the season, she achieved her first podium as a rookie at the Thruxton circuit.
 

Preparing for the F1 Academy season

Before Gademan begins her season in F1 Academy, she will first participate in the Formula Winter Series with Hitech GP. Between Jan. 30 and March 9, she will race at circuits such as Portimão, Valencia, Aragon and Barcelona. This series serves as an important step in her development as a driver.
